General: Exchange student who is studying at Carolina for a year and will compete on the Tar Heel swimming team...is in his junior year.
Prep: Attended university in Paris (Sciences Po) the past two years...graduated from Jean Mermoz High School in Montpellier, France in 2008...competes in the 50, 100 and 200 breaststrokes and the 200 IM...was coached by Antonin Villotte at Lagardère Paris Racing and Bruno Dumas at ASPTT Montpellier... won a silver medal in 2007 at the French junior championships in the 200 IM...captured bronze medal at the French junior championships in 2008 in the 200 breaststroke...has both French and Swiss nationalities...now swims for Switzerland with Vevey Natation club and head coach Chris Morgan...won gold medal in 2010 at the Swiss Summer LCM Championships in the 100 breaststroke.
Personal: Full name is Colin Bridier...son of Michel Bridier and Lise Perrot...has two brothers, Valentin, 23, and Vincent, 19...stands 180 cm tall...an undeclared major...was born January 27, 1990 in Paris, France.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. Since my last competitive season, the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is body position.
2. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my technique.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics, I like to spend time with friends, eating, watching movies, playing tennis and reading.
2. On a long bus trip, I'd like to watch The Fifth Element.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be tennis.
4. If I received free concert tickets via a radio or internet promotion I would love to see The Black Eyed Peas.
Section #3: Food
1. After a big meet I'd love to see a buffet spread that included pizza, roast meat and potatoes and Tiramisu.
2. My favorite beverage is pear juice.
3. I'm allowed to enter a room with unlimited snacks, one room has the salty stuff, the other sweet stuff? Which room do I enter and why? I'd enter the sweet stuff room because I prefer sweet food in general.
4. My favorite food made by a relative is my Mum's. She is such a good cook that I can't choose a single one!
5. On my birthday, I'd love to be treated by my friends to dinner at any three stars restaurant in France!

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I would go to Paris, the 12th of July 1998: the day France won the football World Cup!
2. My most prized personal possession is my bed.
3. My iTunes library includes songs of all genres.
4. In a perfect world where making money was not a consideration my dream job would be...I have no idea.
